DESCRIPTION:Dear Colleagues\, \nIt is our great pleasure\, on behalf of the organizers—the Association of Doctors of Medicine\, Anesthesiologists and Reanimatologists of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (UDMAR) and the Association of Anesthesiologists\, Reanimatologists and Intensivists of the Republic of Srpska (UAIRRS)—to welcome you to the 4th Congress of Anesthesiologists and Reanimatologists in Bosnia and Herzegovina with International Participation\, which will be held from October 15–18\, 2026\, at Jahorina. \nDuring the three days of the Congress\, a broad spectrum of topics will be presented\, providing participants with the opportunity to discuss\, exchange information\, and share their experiences on current issues in anesthesiology\, reanimatology\, and intensive care medicine. \nWe are witnessing an exceptionally dynamic development of anesthesiology\, reanimatology\, and intensive care medicine. New methods\, therapeutic guidelines\, and treatment strategies continue to emerge\, and opinions and experiences regarding these advances will be exchanged within the various thematic sessions. Our goal is for the Congress to be conducted in the spirit of professional advancement and fruitful collaboration among all participants. The international character of the Congress will serve as a strong impetus for the further development of anesthesiology\, reanimatology\, intensive care medicine\, and pain therapy in Bosnia and Herzegovina. \nWe warmly welcome you and look forward to meeting you at Jahorina! \nProf. Dr. Sci. DESCRIPTION:Dear Colleagues\, Dear Participants\, \nAs anesthesiologists and intensive care physicians\, we are present not only in the operating room\, but throughout the entire journey of the patient. It is a responsibility that begins in the pre-hospital setting\, continues in the intensive care unit\, and extends to discharge and beyond. \nIn the most critical moments of life\, where seconds save lives\, we do not merely make decisions; we build teams\, establish trust\, and provide leadership. However\, today we must also speak openly about a reality: we are struggling. In environments where communication has weakened\, workload has increased\, and psychological safety has diminished\, even the strongest teams become exhausted. That is precisely why we need effective leadership and ethical guidance more than ever before\, and it is exactly why we need to come together. To listen to one another\, to share our experiences\, and to develop solutions together. \nTARK is not merely a congress; it is a gathering where we come together to rethink and rebuild our profession\, our working environments\, and our future. Here\, we will not only talk about science; we will also talk about leadership\, teamwork\, ethical guidance\, and solidarity\, because good teams do not come together by chance—they are built. \nIn the second century of our Republic\, it is time to take steps together for a stronger profession and healthier working environments. \nWe may be tired\, but we are not hopeless.
