We started our first Balkan States Anesthesia Days meetings in 2014 in Pristina Kosovo\, with the participation of our colleagues from almost all Balkan states. \nThe “Balkan States Anesthesia Days – IX” will be organized by ARUD\, with the collaboration of Macedonian Society of Anesthesiologists and Intensive Care Medicine (MSA).  The congress will be at the meeting halls of International Balkan University on 24-27 April 2025. Our congress theme is “Disaster Preparedness in Anesthesia and Intensive Care”.  As the scientific committee\, together with our colleagues from the Balkan Countries\, we covered the topics of the scientific program from a broad perspective and will have the opportunity to discuss\, chat\, exchange information and share our experiences with all participants. DESCRIPTION:Dear Colleagues\, \nI am honored and happy to invite you to our 57th congress\, which we have always attributed meaning beyond a congress\, which gained even more meaning in the 100th anniversary of our Republic. \nIn the information age\, we will experience the excitement of being able to follow the dizzying developments in our field of Anesthesiology and Reanimation\, which changes and develops faster than all fields of science\, and to share information together at our congress. In addition to this\, we are in the preparations for a social program in which we will quench our longing in the remaining time\, experience the happiness of being together and meet with art. \nDespite the difficulties we are experiencing\, we are preparing a scientific program that includes all subjects related to the science of Anesthesiology and Reanimation\, especially education and sustainability\, which we all care about. I believe that TARK 2023 will turn into a science feast with your valuable contributions as well as the knowledge and experience sharing of our valuable professors who are competent in their fields\, who will convey the current developments in our field of science\, and foreign speakers with high awareness in their fields of interest. In addition\, our young colleagues will have the opportunity to improve themselves with the courses and simulations to be held within the scope of the congress. \nOur goal is to further increase the number of international participants in TARKs and to carry our knowledge and experience beyond our country’s borders. In line with the goals of TARD\, which takes internationalization as its mission\, our congress will be colorful with dozens of participants from Europe\, the Balkan countries\, the Turkic world and neighboring countries. \nAs in every congress\, the industry stands that will take place in our congress will provide the participants with the opportunity to follow the current technological developments in our field of science and to examine the technological opportunities offered by the industry on site. \nWe are all very excited to be celebrating the 100th anniversary of our Republic this year. Starting from the generations that will carry our Republic to many centuries\, we have determined our congress motto\, which we have chosen among your suggestions\, as “Light to 100s\, with Bright Faces”.
