DESCRIPTION:The Bulgarian Society of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care is organizing one of the most important professional events in the medical calendar of 2026! The 24th National Congress of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care and the 8th Conference on Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition with International Participation . The events will be held from October 22 to 25\, 2026 at the Bulgaria Hotel in Burgas . The forum will bring together specialists from the country and abroad to discuss contemporary trends\, challenges and the future of anesthesiology\, intensive care and clinical nutrition. \nHigh practical value and clear focus\nThe scientific program is aimed at topics of high practical value and a clear focus on the development of the specialty. Among the leading accents are modern techniques in anesthesia \, including TIVA\, balanced anesthesia and a personalized approach to different patient groups. Special attention is paid to neuroanesthesia \, cardioanesthesia and pediatric anesthesia . Also to pain management\, regional anesthesia and modern opioid-sparing strategies. \nNew technologies\nThe program also includes topics related to anesthesia in patients with concomitant diseases \, intensive care and resuscitation \, sepsis and shock \, ventilation strategies and behavior in critical conditions. New technologies in anesthesiology also occupy a significant place – artificial intelligence\, automated monitoring systems and the application of ultrasound in regional anesthesia. This clearly shows a simple truth: the specialty is developing rapidly and no serious professional forum can afford to look back while the practice is moving forward. \nSafety and risk management\nOther highlights include safety and risk management \, medical errors and their prevention\, checklists and protocols\, and crises in the operating room. The program also includes topics related to ethics and communication – informed consent\, working with patients and families\, and burnout among anesthesiologists. Special attention is also provided for anesthesiology in emergency situations \, including pandemics\, mass incidents\, and military medicine. In other words\, it will not only be about technique\, but also about the reality in which doctors work every day. \nFees and registration\nThe participation fee is 120 euros until August 30\, 2026 and 150 euros after that date . For nurses\, the fee is 100 euros \, and medical students are exempt from the participation fee. In environments where communication has weakened\, workload has increased\, and psychological safety has diminished\, even the strongest teams become exhausted. That is precisely why we need effective leadership and ethical guidance more than ever before\, and it is exactly why we need to come together. To listen to one another\, to share our experiences\, and to develop solutions together. \nTARK is not merely a congress; it is a gathering where we come together to rethink and rebuild our profession\, our working environments\, and our future.
