About the Masterclass
The Patient Safety and Quality (PSQ) Masterclass 2025 is organised by ESAIC and focuses on perioperative patient safety. Open to both ESAIC members and non-members fluent in English, this highly interactive course is designed for:
- Anaesthesiologists
- Nurse anaesthetists
- Other perioperative clinicians and staff
- Hospital administrators
Participants are expected to have some prior experience in patient safety and a strong motivation to become patient safety and quality champions in their institutions.
Programme Highlights
The course combines lectures, interactive workshops, role-playing sessions, and high-fidelity simulations, allowing participants to both update their theoretical knowledge and apply it in practice.
Educational goals include:
- Providing a state-of-the-art theoretical update on patient safety and quality in anaesthesiology.
- Training new skills and techniques in managing clinical risks, hazards, and quality of care.
- Offering opportunities for scientific exchange with peers and discussions with key opinion leaders.
Accreditation
📑 Accreditation by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME®) has been applied for.
This Masterclass is also part of the Safer Care to Save Lives – Patient Safety Ambassador’s Programme.
