The association was founded in March 2010. continues the work of the association that has existed since 1997. At that time, the founding assembly of the Association of Citizens of the Association of Anesthesiologists and Reanimators in FBiH was held in Sarajevo. The first president of the Association was prof. Ph.D. Amira Durić. In November 2007. new management was elected: assistant. Ph.D. Mirsada Prašo, president, prim. Ph.D. Mirsad Babović, vice president, dr. Amir Slipičević, member. By amending certain provisions of the Law on Associations, and due to the lack of time due to the already set date of the Second Congress, the new management registers the association under the given name. Then there were necessary changes in the way of management and organization of the Association (new Statute) in accordance with the new provisions of the law. Members of UDMAR automatically became all members of the previous association who confirmed in writing that they agree to the adopted changes in the organization of the Association, that is, that they accept the new Statute of the Association. The Association is led by the Board of Directors and the Assembly, and the NO was constituted in December 2016. at the VII regular assembly, amendments to the Statute related to the number and method of election of members of the Assembly are adopted. Instead of the Board of Directors, the governing body of the Association is the Executive Board, and a new management was elected. Assoc. was elected as the President of the Association. Ph.D. sc. Jasmina Smajić, who is also the president of the IO In order to register the Association at the federal level, at the Founding Assembly held on November 22, 2018 in Tuzla, a new statute was voted, and the mandate of the previous management was extended for the next 4 years, with the fact that she is once again in place of the IO returned to the Board of Directors. The President of the Association remains prof. Ph.D. sci. Jasmina Smajić, as well as vice-president prim. Ph.D. Aida Tahmishcija.
