The VII Congress of Medicine will take place on 21–23 November at Hotel Emerald in Prishtina, bringing together leading physicians, researchers, and healthcare policymakers from across the region. The event, organized by the Kosovo Doctors Chamber, will feature a rich scientific program, keynote sessions, workshops, and panel discussions focusing on current challenges and advances in modern medical practice.
The congress will officially begin with an opening ceremony on 20 November, highlighted by musical performances and speeches from prominent figures, including the President of the Kosovo Doctors Chamber, representatives of the Ministry of Health, international ambassadors, and members of the scientific committee. The ceremony will also include the promotion of the Medical Journal and the presentation of prestigious honors such as the “Ali Sokoli” and “Musa Haxhiu” decorations awarded to distinguished physicians.
Throughout the three-day event, participants will have the opportunity to engage in multidisciplinary sessions covering internal medicine, surgery, anesthesia and intensive care, public health, and emerging medical technologies. The gathering aims to strengthen regional collaboration, support continuing medical education, and highlight the contributions of Kosovo’s medical community to global healthcare standards.
With an expected high number of attendees and a comprehensive scientific agenda, the congress is set to be one of the most significant medical events in the Western Balkans this year.
