Arud was founded in 1988 with the aim of ensuring scientific, educational, social and cultural solidarity among its members, working to make the field of Anesthesiology and Reanimation attractive, encouraging the training of a sufficient number of experts in this field, and thus saving the practice of Anesthesiology from non-expert hands. Other aims of the association are to establish recovery and intensive care units in every hospital, which are the responsibility of anesthesiologists, and to establish anesthesia polyclinics to ensure that patients are examined and evaluated by anesthesiologists before surgery. On the other hand, it also works to ensure that the health, social and economic rights of anesthesiologists are secured.
