It is an honor and a great pleasure to invite you to TARK2024, the 58th congress of our deeply rooted and longstanding association, which grows and develops each year, symbolizing our unity and togetherness like a majestic plane tree rising from its roots.

As the field of medical sciences continues to advance relentlessly, the importance and value of our field are increasing day by day. This continuous progress not only places a great mission upon us but also requires us to closely follow the developments in knowledge and technology. While technology provides countless opportunities for accessing information, it falls short of replacing the in-person exchange of knowledge and experiences, and the warm embrace of friendships that we enjoy at our congresses. In this respect, TARK holds a special significance for each of us, bringing us together.

We are working with great dedication to offer you a congress filled with unforgettable memories and rich content, where you can engage with science and knowledge in spaces adorned with technology and art, and share the latest developments in our field. We hope that TARK2024 will be remembered as a scientific feast, not only for its sessions featuring renowned scientists from our country and abroad but also for its courses and workshops that will provide young colleagues with opportunities for professional development. Additionally, our participants will have the chance to explore and experience the innovations and advancements that science and technology offer us through industry exhibitions. Reflecting the growing international interest in our congress, our colleagues from different countries will bring the unique colors of their nations, just as they did at our previous congress.

One of the high-priority topics in our field is patient safety, which directly affects the delivery of healthcare services and the well-being/outcomes of our patients. It is a crucial aspect we emphasize within medical disciplines. In line with this, we have chosen the motto for TARK2024: “From the Past to the Future with Confidence,” reflecting our commitment to a holistic approach centered on patient safety.
