The first Congress of anesthesiologists and intensivists of Montenegro will be remembered as a unique gathering of experts and professionals from various fields of anesthesia and treatment of critically ill patients in intensive care units, which is being held for the first time in our independent country. Through lectures and workshops led by these prominent experts, discussions within the sessions that will follow each of them, we will get to know the latest guides, attitudes, guidelines, and, using their valuable experience, we will work together towards the same goal, implement new standards and improve our daily clinical practice. Anesthesia and intensive therapy of critically ill patients is a field of medicine that is constantly developing, and this kind of cooperation is something that we have lacked until now, and we believe that through the continuity of such events in the future we will maintain openness towards the region and the world and in this way, through our training, building experience according to the latest standards, to provide our patients with safe and quality treatment in our country.
